With Data Backup or Transfer service, we can pick-up and drop off and have a PTP Agent transfer data from one device to another.*

You’ll need to bring in both your old and new devices, and you’ll be without them until the transfer is complete. Please note that this is a Pick-up/drop-off service, so it will not be performed while you wait. A PTP Agent will provide an estimated pickup date when you drop off your devices.

  • Transferring your data
    We’ll back up or transfer your data** to one medium or device (including DVDs, NAS, hard drive, etc.). You will need to supply the backup device unless you opt for a cloud-based backup service.***
  • Data Backup or Transfer with Hard Drive.
    Purchase this optional service and we’ll provide a hard drive for you, in order to back up or transfer your data. Talk to your PTP Agent for pricing and further details.
  • Keeping it organized.
    We will make sure the data maintains the same folder structure as the previous location. (For example, documents will go into the My Documents folder.)
  • Finishing touches.
    We’ll install and configure included or built-in software for any external hard drive, and we’ll help you set up a data backup schedule that fits your needs.

*This service does not include network device setup or managing file names or tags.

**If you need to back up or transfer more than 9.4 GB to DVD, you’ll also need to purchase an add-on service to handle the extra data. Talk to your PTP Agent for pricing and further details.
